Viola/Violin Instructor

Tyler.JPG

Mr. Tyler Salvato has taught music privately for over six years now to the entire spectrum of ages, mainly 8 to 16 years of age.  His former instructors include; Paula Simmons, (Brian) Che-Yen Chen, and Basil Vendryes. Salvato attended Scripps Ranch High School and has played with many youth orchestras in the San Diego area, including YPO, SDYS, CYO, and YAS.  His first experience teaching occurred in martial arts during high school, teaching fellow students and youth classes as a Black Belt. He recently graduated with a music degree in Viola Performance from the renowned Denver University, Lament School of Music leading him to teaching viola, violin and guitar lessons for elementary to adult students.

Kids have a great energy and curiosity.  Mr. Tyler Salvato was introduced to piano at the age of five by a high school student.  Music became a game, a curiosity and something he was good and quick at. He would like to share my passion for music and learning new things with kids because they are curious, creative and open minded.  That would be a very refreshing population and environment. The arts are a great outlet for personal expression and emotional release. All children should at least be exposed to the power of music and he'd like to be a part of that.  Mr. Salvato feels his strong suits are his patience and constant need for more knowledge and sharing of his own knowledge. He wishes to help his students in anyway to share knowledge in string instruments and the performance of music.
