Marc is enthusiastic about learning and playing a wide range of musical styles while also committed to helping other musicians learn the music they are passionate about. Having recently graduated with honors from the University of California in San Diego with a degree in music (B.A.); Marc emphasizes in classical performance, jazz studies, contemporary/new performance techniques, improvisation, and composition. His teachers include Bertram Turetzky, Mark Dresser, Don Palma, Bob Magnusson, Kamau Kenyatta and many others throughout the years. Marc is versatile when it comes playing the bass and has a wide range of experience performing a multitude of different musical styles. Instead of being a classical/jazz bassist, Marc labels himself as a musician because he truly believes that there are only two types of music - good and bad.
